Clerodendrum speciosissimum


Clerodendrum is a genus of flowering plants in the family Lamiaceae. Its common names include glorybower, bagflower and bleeding-heart. The genus is native to tropical and warm temperate regions of the world, with most of the species occurring in tropical Africa and southern Asia, but with a few in the tropical Americas and northern Australasia.     1. It can be confusing between what different countries know them as, but I love to learn. And I am rather fond of the South African, Australian and New Zealand plants.

  2. oh this one is even more beautiful . . . .when I see flowers like this I wish I either lived in a different climate or had an amazing conservatory attached to my house!
